A post containing a video
Last weekend I posted a video of the Flying Scotsman as well as pictures of the Flying Scotsman. This weekend the famous steam locomotive returned to West Berkshire, allowing me to capture additional footage just down the track near Frouds Lane. This time I used both a stationary camera on the ground as well as my DJI Phantom 3 drone. I then combined the footage from both weekends into this video:
Hopefully there will be further visits in the future for more videos and pictures.
I only found out less than an hour before it was due so I didn’t have much time to prepare, but this morning the famous Flying Scotsman steam locomotive passed through Aldermaston Station. Here’s a short video (incl an initial false alarm as we didn’t know the exact times) of the pass:

Having grown up in West Germany I don’t think I have heard this song during my childhood. Instead I had to move to the UK for Cerys Matthews to play it on BBC Radio 6 Music:
