Finally get around posting another set from my visit to Titchfield Haven over a month ago. So far we had Cormorants, Little Egrets and Kingfishers. Today another wader, the Black-Tailed Godwit. There were quite a few at the reserve, these were feeding quite close to the hide:

They look a lot more colourful in breeding plumage !
I’ll have to visit that reserve again in spring next year, this was my first visit on the August bank holiday
We’re loving our visits to the Northumberland Coast to catch all the waders , just waiting to see what visitors we get
